Career highlights include artist management for acts including No Doubt, The Offspring and Social Distortion, leadership of the largest online music destination AOL Music, complete relaunch of Spinner.com as an indie music site, direction of online marketing campaigns for major consumer brands and general management of Buzznet.
Kieve has had a successful 20-year career in digital entertainment, direct marketing, and new business development. He has consistently created and run successful and profitable new businesses.
Career highlights include: building and running Columbiahouse.com’s initial customer acquisition efforts; running historic, successful and award-winning new media campaigns for artists ranging from Elvis Presley to Dave Mathews Band while at RCA Records; taking a digital business at BMG from single digit millions in revenue to over $100 million in less than two years leading into the merger with Sony; running a $200 million mobile content business at Infospace; and tripling revenues at the first global professional video game league, Championship Gaming Series (a DirecTV, BSkyB, STAR funded startup.)
Conn Fishburn is the Managing Partner of F3, a strategy and innovation ﬁrm where he serves as an advisor to both Fortune 500 companies, agencies and early stage start-ups. In this capacity he works with senior executives to help them understand the new reality of media and marketing and develop models that allow their company to adapt, thrive and proﬁt in this new environment.
For the past 14 years Mr. Fishburn has applied his innate understanding of the intersection between human behavior, technology and culture to provide insight and business building work to some of the worldʼs best known companies and brands, including AT&T, American Express, Barclayʼs Capital, Cisco, Coca-Cola, Dell, Disney, Kelloggʼs, LVMH, Motorola, MySpace, News Corporation, Nestle, P&G, Purina, Target and Viacom.
Previously he served as the Head of Partner Innovation at Yahoo! where he worked to deﬁne, deliver, monetize and scale the next generation of marketing relationships, user interfaces and brand experiences for key clients and their consumers. Prior to that he served as Yahooʼs Director of Social Media Strategy. As an expert in Branding, Social Media and Marketing he is a highly sought advisor and speaks frequently on these subjects.
Before joining Yahoo! Fishburn was Senior Partner and General Manager of the Brand Integration Group (BIG), the award-winning design and brand experience division of Ogilvy. He was the co-founder and Director of dig, a creative research company, the Director of Brand Experience at Internet Appliance Network, an emerging technology company, and a Senior Brand Planner at Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners. Fishburn graduated from Emory University with a dual degree in Social Theory and Creative Writing.
